It is with heavy hearts we share the loss of one of our founders and extraordinary mentor Charles M. Shelton. Charlie and his brother Ed founded Shelco in 1978 and we are honored to build on their foundation. His remarkable construction career spanned from 1,200 SF starter homes to high rise office buildings. Charlie inspired us every day to give our best and not be easily discouraged. He taught us the value of community and the importance of our role in each community we serve. Charlie was a family man who valued hard work and keeping your word. We were fortunate to experience his tough love, wisdom, and perseverance. All of us here at Shelco are indebted to Charlie for creating the opportunity of our company which produces our livelihood.
