D. Edwin Rose

Chief Executive Officer

Ed was named Chief Executive Officer of Shelco in January of 2000. He started his career with us in 1983 as a Project Manager after graduating from North Carolina State University with a B.S. Civil Engineering. Over the years Ed has personally managed over 6.5 million square feet of construction including office buildings, distribution, industrial and retail facilities. Currently he is responsible for the overall operations of Shelco’s three offices located in Charlotte, Winston-Salem and Raleigh, North Carolina. Under Ed’s leadership, Shelco’s annual revenues have consistently ranked the company as one of the largest general contractors in the Southeast. Ed is an active member of the community and enjoys Shelco’s participation in charitable and non-profits construction projects. He enjoys playing golf and spending time on his farm with his family.

Brendan Bambrick

President & Chief Operating Officer

Brendan began his career with Shelco in 1999 as a Project Manager. He opened an office in Bluffton, South Carolina in 2001 where he successfully managed the construction of a variety of projects including parking decks, schools, offices, and retail facilities. In 2009 he was promoted to Senior Vice President and relocated to the Charlotte office. Since 2017, Brendan has served as the General Manger of our Charlotte location. Brendan was named President in 2022. Brendan earned his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Construction Management from Virginia Tech and is a Licensed General Contractor in Georgia and Florida. He enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons.

Gerard J. Reid

Chief Marketing Officer & Executive Vice President

Gerard is the Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer. He oversees all marketing efforts for Shelco as he continues to serve as a Project Executive for the Charlotte and South Carolina markets. Gerard holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His career with Shelco started in 1993 and in 1995 he opened an office in Greenville, South Carolina. Gerard led the successful completion of a diverse list of projects in both the Carolinas including large retail, mixed use, office, athletic and industrial facilities. On the weekends Gerard enjoys a variety of outdoor adventures with his family.

Brian Allen

Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President of Finance

Brian joined Shelco in 2009 as our Director of Business Process. Under his leadership, Shelco has improved administrative cost efficiency and internal controls, leading to his promotion to Chief Financial Officer in 2020. Brian is a licensed CPA in North Carolina with over 20 years of financial experience in the construction industry and he earned his B.A. in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University. He enjoys attending sporting events and spending time with his family.

Susan F. Campbell

Chief Administrative Officer

Susie has been with the company for over three decades, having earned the promotion to Chief Administrative Officer in 2021. She is responsible for human resources, corporate insurance and overall risk management including OSHA compliance, health and safety programs, and all corporate policies and procedures. Susie holds a B.A. degree in Political Science and English from Clemson University. She is an active member in the community and currently serves on the Board of Cancer Services, Inc., Habitat for Humanity of Forsyth County and Leadership Winston-Salem. Her community awards include Triad Business Leader- Mover & Shaker, YMCA Women of Vision and United Way Women’s Leadership Council Susan Ivey Award. Susie enjoys traveling with her husband and ringing handbells.

J. Todd Roberts

Senior Vice President & Raleigh Market Leader

Todd joined Shelco in 2006 as Assistant Project Manager and in 2017 was promoted to Senior Vice President. In 2021, Todd was promoted to lead Shelco’s office, supporting general and administrative operations. Todd has established a reputation at Shelco for building strong relationships with our clients, partners, and teammates. He holds a B.A. degree in Economics from North Carolina State University and is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor. On the weekends you will find Todd chasing his triplet children around or serving as Captain in two of his kids’ YMCA Y Guides groups.

Mike Rhoades, LEED AP

Senior Vice President & Winston-Salem Market Leader

In 2019 Mike was promoted to Senior Vice President of the Winston-Salem Office where he is currently responsible for the overall success of the Triad office operations. He has served as superintendent, estimator, and project manager during his construction career and started with Shelco in 2007 as a Project Manager. Mike’s extensive project experience includes datacenter, medical, high-tech, lab, large Class A office, renovation, and expansion. He is an accredited LEED Professional LEED AP and has served as the LEED Coordinator on several projects. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as playing golf on the weekends.
